A selected repertoire of jazz from New Orleans to the Swing Era
Members of the Meeniyan/Stony Creek Fire brigade are pursuing a fund raising campaign for a
much needed Building extension and equipment up-date.
Les Fithall’s band “LE JAZZ HOT’ has been booked, .they play a selected repertoire
of jazz from New Orleans 1920s to the Swing Era of the 1940s.
A front line of Trumpet, Trombone and Reeds backed by Piano, Drums and Bass plus vocals
from two band members ensure a toe-tapping night for dancing or just listening and enjoying.
