The newest exhibition at the Yarram Courthouse Gallery is from textile artists Pam Booth and Leonie Thomas.
Pam & Leonie work together using felted wool creating a range of colourful, wearable art, wall hangings and canvasses, many featuring representations of the human face & figure. They are also inspired by traditional dress from Japan, Hawaii & African countries.
The colour of Central Australian landscape also influences their work and they use acrylics and embroidery to enrich the pattern & texture.
Pam and Leonie have had their work exhibited by Craft Victoria and galleries in Doncaster, Euroa, Yarragon, Warrandyte and North Fitzroy.
Viewers will be delighted & surprised by this magical transformation of wool. The exhibition runs from March 24 –April 19.
Opening hours 10.00- 4.00 daily except Wed. Admission Free.
